WHAT. is going on here?as far as i am concerned, this is the oldest and best picture on the internet. and i mean both that it is found on the internet and that it is a comment on the state and purpose of the internet.
It’s part of a series called Understanding Joshua by artist Charlie White. He frequently works with puppets in his very staged photographs. In this series, the alien thing, Joshua, is supposed to represent the insecure inner-self of most men. His stuff is pretty bizarre, but also fairly awesome. He also is pretty well known for his video for Interpol’s Evil.
