16. Shugo Tokumaru - Exit
Holy crap, the whimsy. Toy instruments ahoy, but in a non-annoying way. The strange rhythms, instrumentation and melodies are a little off-putting at first, but ultimately very pleasing. Shugo continues the tradition of Cornelius in making music with no Western equivalent (and possibly no Eastern equivalent). I’m serious about the album being pleasing. Listen to it and try not to be pleased. Even just the track above. It will please you to death.
