28. Annie - Don’t Stop
While there is nothing better in this world than American mainstream pop single when it’s at its best, our pop stars have trouble with full albums. Even the best in recent memory such as Nelly Furtado’s Loose and Rihanna’s Good Girl Gone Bad are about 2/3rds good max, with several clunkers. However, foreigners like Robyn, Alphabeat and the lady in question here are able to do what a Yank can apparently not. From beginning to end, Annie gives excellent electro-tinged pop songs. Fluff, sure. But nothing wrong with some fluff once in a while, especially on the dance floor.
