The only bad thing about the Ragnarock Philly trip was that I had to miss the Elephant 6 Holiday Surprise Tour. As I guessed, Jeff Mangum showed up for the fun. Here’s him doing a Neutral Milk Hotel b-side, “Engine,” in Chicago. Apparently the only NMH song he’s been doing on the tour. Mostly just singing backup for Olivia Tremor Control and the like.
