1. Your (and my) favorite new record label

Is called Popjustice Hi-Fi. You may already know the blog Popjustice. It’s a UK blog that broke basically every awesome European pop act for the past 5 years. La Roux, Frankmusik, Alphabeat, etc etc etc. Well they partnered with Virgin Records to form their own record label.  And the first two releases are awesome.

    Rosanna - “Waterfall”
Swedish lady. Not unlike Robyn. I mean, that should be enough right there. Big thick synths. Real good.

Bright Light Bright Light - “Love Part II”
Halfway between Pet Shop Boys and later-period New Order. Driving beat, big ‘ol chorus.

Really, really good start. Very excited to see what’s next.

  8. Just realized I’ve only been posting mp3s recently, so here’s a horrible idea: smoked salmon vodka.

It’s funny that she says “chunked up” multiple times when referring to how they break up the salmon, because I chunked up when I heard of this.
